Welcome to the San Mateo Rotary website.

Rotary is a club of business, professional and community leaders who endeavor to follow the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self". Our club particularly focuses on youth of San Mateo by funding scholarships for needy students in yearly amounts of up to $100,000 total. We also have a focus on elder care. We facilitated the construction and supervise the operation of 82 units of low-cost senior citizen housing in San Mateo.

In these other projects we endeavor to build good will and better friendships, and have fun and camaraderie. We attend weekly Thursday lunch meetings at Coyote Point Grill, which features a notable speaker on timely topics.
